Education and hospital training
Dr. Rodda graduated from The State University of New York at Buffalo with his undergraduate degree in 2007, and earned his doctorate from the School of Dental Medicine in 2011. Immediately following dental school, he completed an intensive General Practice Residency at Wishard Memorial Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.
During that residency he gained extensive experience in advanced surgical and restorative procedures, managing medically complex patients, and I.V. sedation training.
After his residency, Dr. Rodda entered private practice in upstate New York, where he dedicated much of his time to advanced continuing education — most notably completing the Implantology Continuum at the postgraduate Periodontology department at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine in Manhattan. He and his wife, Maria, later moved to Arizona to purchase and run their own dental practice, where he continued to expand his clinical skills alongside top consultants.

Teaching, study clubs, and giving back
Driven by collaboration, Dr. Rodda has participated actively in the Troy Study Club, The Implant Study Club in Schenectady, the local Seattle Study Club, and the SPEAR Study Club. He gave back to the profession by volunteering as an attending instructor at the St. Peter’s Hospital General Practice Residency in Albany, New York.
He is a frequent attendee at national meetings for the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. That work culminated in earning Mastership status (MAGD) with the Academy of General Dentistry — a prestigious distinction achieved by less than 2% of dentists nationwide.
Outside the office
Dan and Maria have always loved traveling to Colorado for skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and mountain biking. They fell so deeply in love with the mountains and the outdoor lifestyle that they decided to officially make Colorado their permanent home.
